Senior Support Worker | Adult care ABOUT THE ROLE Experienced support workers make a difference through both their own practice and the guidance they give colleagues. Bina Pathways Ltd welcomes applicants who can provide thoughtful, person-centred support and take responsibility within an agreed senior role. We are building our workforce for future client assignments in the advertised area. Registration and onboarding do not guarantee assignments or hours. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide person-centred support in line with individual plans, choices and agreed duties. - Support colleagues, contribute to clear handovers and escalate concerns to the shift lead or manager. - Maintain accurate records and respond promptly to incidents, changes in wellbeing and safeguarding concerns. - Medicines and other specialist tasks require verified training, competence and authorisation. WHAT YOU WILL NEED - Relevant care or support experience, including evidence of senior responsibilities or shift leadership appropriate to this role. - Sound safeguarding knowledge, professional boundaries and the confidence to challenge unsafe practice. - Clear communication, reliable attendance and accurate record keeping. - Relevant qualifications and suitability checks for the particular service; requirements will be confirmed before placement. PAY AND WORKING ARRANGEMENTS £13.76 basic per hour plus 12.07% holiday pay for eligible irregular-hours employment: approximately £15.42 combined per hour. The same standard rate applies to days, nights and weekends. Bank-holiday basic pay is time-and-a-half. Flexible zero-hours employment with Bina Pathways Ltd for client assignments. Work depends on suitable client demand; no hours or start date are guaranteed. Setting: Adult care. Any training or DBS costs will be explained before agreement.
