About the role

Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant (HCA) ABOUT THE ROLE Good support starts with listening, respecting choices and noticing when someone needs help. Bina Pathways Ltd is recruiting Support Workers / Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) for adult care, children’s support and healthcare settings in the advertised area. This is one application and one recruitment record. You do not need to select separate care roles. We will discuss your experience, assess your competence and confirm the settings and duties you are suitable for during recruitment. Assignments may include supported living, residential care, care homes, community support, children’s services and healthcare environments. A combined job title does not authorise work in every setting; placements depend on the relevant checks, training, experience and written assignment requirements. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Support daily living, personal care where needed, meals, routines and activities while promoting dignity, choice and independence. - Support children and young people in line with their individual plans, communication needs, professional boundaries and safeguarding arrangements. - In healthcare settings, provide agreed HCA support and report observations or changes promptly to the appropriate clinician. Clinical tasks require specific training, assessment, delegation and authorisation. - Follow care and support plans, keep factual records, give clear handovers and raise safeguarding concerns, incidents and changes in wellbeing promptly. - Medicines, moving and assisting, behaviour support and specialist tasks must remain within your verified competence and the service’s instructions. WHAT YOU WILL NEED - Relevant care, support or healthcare experience, clear communication and a reliable, respectful approach. - An understanding of safeguarding adults and children, confidentiality, dignity, consent and professional boundaries. - Evidence of qualifications, training and practical competence appropriate to the settings and duties agreed for you. - Satisfactory identity, right-to-work, references and the DBS and suitability checks appropriate to the actual duties. Adult and children’s requirements are assessed separately where applicable. BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH US - Weekly pay on Fridays for approved hours submitted by the payroll deadline. - Flexibility to accept or decline available assignments around your other commitments. - Opportunities to build experience in settings matched to your skills and clearance. - Recruitment support, secure online onboarding and clear written assignment information. - Online access to booking and compliance information. HOURS, LOCATION AND PAY Flexible zero-hours employment. Work depends on suitable assignments being available and hours are not guaranteed. Read the location and pay shown in this advert; shift times, duties and setting-specific requirements are confirmed before you accept an assignment. Your pay breakdown, holiday-pay arrangements and agreed enhancements will be provided in writing. Any DBS or training costs will be explained before agreement. HOW TO APPLY Submit your CV and contact details once for Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant (HCA). There are no separate adult, children or HCA role-selection boxes. For recruitment adjustments contact recruitment@binapathways.co.uk. Interview success and completion of an application do not by themselves authorise deployment.

BINA PATHWAYS LTD welcomes applications from people who meet the role requirements. All appointments are subject to the appropriate recruitment and right-to-work checks. We do not charge applicants a recruitment fee.
